Gerald Walsh – Realtor
Gerald Walsh recognized his passion for real estate after returning to Cranbrook in 2017. Recognizing the industry’s depth—particularly the intricacies of contract law and property transactions—he quickly realized how rewarding and fulfilling a career in real estate could be. What began as an interest soon became a true passion, rooted in his love for building deep, meaningful connections with clients and guiding them through one of the most significant transactions of their lives. Over the years, Gerald has built a reputation for integrity, professionalism, and results. He enjoyed many successful years working with Re/Max, where he valued the relationships and teamwork that helped clients achieve their goals. Today, he is proud to be an owner at Century 21 Purcell Realty, working alongside his wife Deborah, his business partner Adam Stenersen, and Adam’s wife Ramona. One of the things Gerald is most proud of is their reputation for "The Gold Standard"—a phrase that symbolizes their commitment to excellence and the high standards they uphold daily. It’s a reminder of how they aim to serve clients with integrity, professionalism, and dedication. Gerald’s background is as diverse as it is extensive. He holds a university degree in forestry and began his career working as a forester, specializing in land management, mapping roads, and overseeing land use projects. His land management experience developed his strategic thinking, discipline, and attention to detail. In 2004, Gerald and Deborah—his lifelong partner in both marriage and business—ventured into the health and beauty industry, founding and operating a medispa where he served as a laser practitioner and specialist. Their entrepreneurial spirit led to the acquisition of Tim Hortons franchises in Banff and Canmore, Alberta, in 2006. They successfully managed these businesses, demonstrating resilience, leadership, and a strong work ethic. Today, Gerald is dedicated to serving his clients with strength, honesty, and a personal touch. Whether buying or selling, his goal is to deliver results that exceed expectations, grounded in his extensive experience and unwavering commitment to client satisfaction.
Deborah Walsh – Realtor
In 2024, Deborah and Gerald Walsh made a significant milestone by purchasing Century 21 Purcell Realty. This achievement inspired Deborah to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a licensed Realtor, and in 2025, she successfully completed her real estate course and earned her license. Deborah’s entrepreneurial journey began in 1996. In 2004, she partnered with her husband Gerald to open a medispa in Sechelt, BC. Together, they became certified medical laser practitioners, specializing in skin rejuvenation and advanced aesthetic treatments. Their dedication to their craft and client care helped establish a strong reputation in the industry. In 2006, Deborah started her real estate studies in British Columbia but paused her coursework when she and Gerald moved to Alberta to purchase Tim Hortons franchises in Canmore and Banff, along with their family members. During this time, they continued to expand their entrepreneurial ventures by opening and working in their medispa in Canmore. In 2017, after selling their franchise store, Deborah and Gerald returned to Cranbrook, BC. Deborah took on roles in management and business development for Blush Medispa, supporting local growth and operations. Today, Deborah is excited to bring her dedication, entrepreneurial spirit, and keen eye for potential to her real estate clients. She genuinely loves helping people see opportunities others might miss and is eager to guide clients through their buying or selling journey with professionalism, care, and expertise—especially now, as a fully licensed Realtor and part of the Century 21 Purcell Realty team, working alongside Gerald, Adam Stenersen, and his wife Ramona.
